Work Order already issued and the
excavation work has started. Coal production from this
project will commence shortly which will enhance coal
availability for the industries in Eastern Region
substantially.
This is one of the largest outsourced mining projects
of ECL.
It is our aim to achieve Overburden removal of 6000 cubic
metre per machine per day in this project. We also propose
to make it a Model Mine with ideal haul road conditions,
lightings etc with properly trained workers so that
Nakrakonda Project becomes one of the safest mines in Indian
Coal Industry.

Operations of
Excavators & Dumpers by CISC
Hiring of HEMM for removal of OB & removal and
transportation of coal with fire fighting from XV, XIV A,
XIV seam at Bararee Patch F of Londa Area. Quantity to be
executed OB 5.37m3, Coal 0.59Mte. The work started on
20.12.07 and period of completion is 36 months.
This is a Fire Project, dealing with active fire & CO
emission from already developed Coal Seam and having
stripping ratio of 1:9.10.

Operations of
Excavators & Dumpers by CISC
Hiring of HEMM for removal of OB and removal and
transportation of coal from L-1 Patch of Rajapur South
Jharia OCP of Kustore Area. Project Started on April 2007.
Quantity OB 1.18 MM3 OB and 0.52 Mte Coal and will be
completed within a span of one year against contract period
of two years. Stripping Ratio 1: 2.26

Operation of Surface Miner by CISC
We are Operating Surface Miner Writgen Make Model
SM2200.
Extraction and transfer of coal from Ashok OC Project Quarry
Face by deploying Surface Miner pay-loader & other allied
equipment and transportation of transferred coal by
contractor’s tipping trucks to KDH Siding, RCM/Bachra Siding
and Extraction and loading of intra seam parting & dumping
to dumpsite. Quantity 7.5 Mte. The cost of operation of
Surface Miner in this Project is one of the lowest in Coal
India. |
